]]> Sat, 04 Feb 2012 10:15:46 GMT Page Updates http://www.saintmargaretschurch.org/content.cfm?id=245 Updated Page: Meet Our Pastor http://www.saintmargaretschurch.org/content.cfm?id=2106  As of September 1, Bishop Dave Bena became our    pastor.  Dave was formerly the Contact Bishop for the Anglican District of Virginia.  He and his wife, Mary Ellen, have three grown children, a hiring officer in Albany, NY, an airline pilot for Alaskan Airlines, and an office manager in Syracuse, NY, and four beautiful grandchildren.  Dave was a Marine officer when he accepted Christ and answered the call to ordained ministry.  After seminary and two pastorates, he was recalled to active duty as an Air Force chaplain, where he served congregations around the world.  He has been a bishop for almost twelve years.  His hobbies are jogging, reading, and all church activities.  Mary Ellen is a retired librarian with a special interest in the healing prayer ministry.  She is doing much work here in the areas of pastoral care and healing.  Dave recently stated, "St. Margaret's is a wonderful, friendly, and well rounded community of caring people.  I am thrilled to be their pastor, evangelist, and coach."

Summer Worship Schedule:

We will have one combined summer service at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary until October.    

The children will have their regular scheduled Sunday School classes during our worship service at 9:30 a.m. The children should go directly to Room 13 for Sunday School.  The children will return to church for Holy Communion with their parents.

We hope to see you for worship this summer!

We are currently accepting applications for craftspeople and vendors to participate in our Annual Holiday Bazaar. The vendor fee is $35 per space.
